Our Vision
At Bell Gardens Elementary, we are a proud Dual Immersion Academy School. We believe in a growth mindset where everyone can become leaders in our community. We embrace the values of multilingualism, multiculturalism, science, and social justice for our students. Our students will engage the future as persevering problem-solvers and leaders within our BGE community. Somos BGE!

 

Our Mission: Cultivating Leadership Habits
Bell Gardens Elementary is a school inspired by The Leader in Me process developed by Franklin Covey.

Together, our staff, parents, and community partners work as one to nurture both the hearts and minds of every student.

Students are empowered to discover their unique strengths, set meaningful goals, and take ownership of their learning journey. Through opportunities to lead, collaborate, and positively contribute to the school community, students develop confidence, responsibility, and strong character. Our goal is to inspire students to reach their full potential and become leaders who make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world around them.

Bell Gardens Elementary has achieved Gold Status in Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) three years in a row! A Tradition of Excellence
In 2016, Bell Gardens Elementary was honored with the prestigious California Gold Ribbon Award, recognizing our innovative and impactful science program. This award celebrated our commitment to providing students with regular, hands-on experiments, fostering curiosity through our annual science fair, and equipping our teachers with extensive resources to keep students deeply engaged. The practices recognized by this award continue to be a cornerstone of our curriculum, and we've seen firsthand how this dynamic approach significantly boosts language acquisition and fluency among our students. At BGE, the ongoing dedication to inspiring a love for science and critical thinking in every student continues.
