SBAC provides information about how well students are learning and becoming college and career ready in English, Math, & Science.
This Spring 2023, all eligible students at BGE will take the year-end tests based on their current grade level.
This may include the:
- Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments in English language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics; (SBAC - Grades 3-5)
- California Science Test (CAST - Grade 5)
- Summative English Language Proficiency Assessments for California or a locally determined alternate assessment as determined by the student’s individualized educational program team;(ELPAC - English Learners in K-5)
- California Alternate Assessments for ELA, mathematics, and science. (CAA - Students with disabilities - Grades 3-5)
